Whether you’re looking for first piano lessons for your child, or just a change of teacher, if you are an adult itching to start something new or to take up the piano where you left off years ago then I can help you.

I am a master graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Music and have over 15 years of teaching experience with a wide variety of ages and levels. I am also able to teach different styles of playing having been trained in both classical and jazz idioms. Lessons are in English (my native language) or basic Dutch (work in progress!)

I am able to teach either at my house, or to travel to addresses in The Hague area or reasonably near. For the ambitious, teaching can be exam orientated (Associated Board), or more relaxed and simply for the pleasure of learning and studying music. 

Having successfully coached pupils at all grade levels I understand what it requires to motivate, encourage and inform developing pianists. Piano lessons focus on the practical side of playing the instrument but will also cover elements of music theory essential to learning about music in its broadest and fullest sense. I am also available as a music theory teacher (solfège, harmony, ear training, improvisation, etc.) up to an advanced level.

I have UK CRB checks and am able to provide references from current and past students.
